    • Alto's Adventure / Alto's Odyssey (has options to buy upgrades but none are required, there is no "win" condition)
      • There is a clone on F-Droid called Lato
    • Lyne
    • Golf Peaks
    • Shortyz Crosswords
  • if you have a hot air desoldering station it shouldn't be too hard. but it's a tool that most people aren't going to have on hand.

  • Can you imagine how hungry you would have to get to try to eat (or drink?) some fermenting porridge? Hmm what about this glob I slopped on the rock in the fire?

  • We had typing as a class, oriented toward business typing proficiency, words per minute, that kind of thing. This was running on PCs with DOS running WordPerfect 5.1

They were all running some network software (netware) so the teacher could see screens and things. There wasn't a school wide network at the time, but I remember finding out how to send messages that would pop up on the bottom line of the screen of one or all the computers. .

  • tek

    Jump
  • Lol I know this is a joke, but I remember reading (on reddit many years ago) about a project someone did where they made the computers in the office broadcast and listen for certain information via infrasound. Something about joining the network or staying on the network or something.

Something about using a similar encoding scheme as that used in GPS signals because it was so low power, but could be picked up in different rooms across the building.

God I wish I could remember the particulars.

  • In the DOS Tie Fighter game, it was used as the training simulator.

  • SMBH?

  • You can just go to the community and block it.

  • ConAir as O'Brian holodeck personal program 53 alpha

  • Just started Howl's Moving Castle. Liking it so far!

Not exactly like the movie, but it's pretty close.

  • One I haven't seen mentioned yet is DownThemAll.

DownThemAll lets you download all the links or images on a website and much more: you can refine your downloads by fully customizable filters to get only what you really want.

Comes in really handy sometimes. (For Firefox / Chrome / Edge)

Another is uBlacklist, which allows you to blacklist domains from Google / Bing / DDG search results (like say, pinterest.*), also for Firefox / Chrome / Edge.
