  • i don't think it's government run, looks like a private sanctuary from looking at their web site.

    if it was a state facility, it would be stated on its web site with links and references to the administering agency (dnr, cpw, etc);

    and if it was a private non-profit 501(c)3, that fact would also be stated clearly because that's a significant bit of data, in its history page, and likely every page in the footer, as well as adjacent to every solicitation for donations or mention of its contact information.

  • i've got various dells here with them (the front ports) vertically oriented.. some go one way, some go the other.

  • that's NOT where or how you do mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

  • when they can stand up and walk away on their own, time to get out a fresh pair.

  • the proposal from evers was a fucking gift to republicans; fewest changes to the already existing gerrymandered to hell maps. but that wasn't good enough for them.

  • plenty of room on that ad to replace 'own it now' with 'rent it until the studio deletes it or we quit paying for its rights'

  • even netscape/mozilla was in on this game, with the open directory project (dmoz). aol eventually shut it down, but it apparently lives on independently as curlie.org - but i have no idea how current it is or anything.

  • and it's not like their governments wouldn't accept extra money, either. i know the u.s. government accepts 'donations' to the general budget or specifically to reduce the federal (public) debt.

  • my current one actually does have an older, and very stripped-down, android.. but no google anything installed, and no google play. i don't even have a data plan attached to it--although it does have a mobile browser and can function as a hotspot.

  • i've always just filed by mail. standard deductions, simple eic look-up. even the se and c forms are a breeze. can use previous year's forms to eyeball what numbers go where--unless they change the damn forms like they did a couple years back. one of the few benefits to not having anything and not making much.

  • can't happen here.. our current printer (an older, higher-end canon) has a whopping 50 page capacity input tray; and if you dare put 50 sheets in it, it'll choke on the first page it tries to pull through--so more like 35-40, max.

  • i've had both windows and linux mess-up dual boot setups.. so i started keeping them separate. either different systems, or run in a vm.

  • right after they put in locking display cabinets for all the game discs here.......

  • "you're welcome to try"

    hands over my brain-dead flip phone with no 'app' capability

  • that starved a long time ago.
