I use ReVanced and love it. Works great, though you do need to do some fiddling to set it up. Once it's installed, though, it's just regular YouTube with all the bullshit stripped out. You can even remove features you don't like, like the Shorts page or the Cast button. And it's got patches for SponsorBlock and Return YouTube Dislike.
Not with me, they didn't. Being able to help out a few friends was the last thing keeping me on Netflix, so with the account sharing restrictions I cancelled, bought a lifetime Plex pass (which was more just to show my support for them not being a shitty company), and now I just use my PC as a media server and pirate all my shit. And I can still share it all with friends!
Mullvad VPN also includes the ability to block all ads at the DNS level, so if you don't already have a VPN (or if you're not happy with your current one), I highly recommend it. Great VPN, great speed, great company.
What the other guy said. Unless you genuinely need high-quality color photos on a daily or weekly basis, you do not need an inkjet printer. Go to a print shop, get it done right and it'll be much less headache -- but the vast majority of the time I've needed something printed, it has been swathes of black text on white paper. And a plain B&W laser printer does that perfectly, with no bullshit. I just recommend Brother because they're a decent company.
edit: @nnrx@sh.itjust.works you know, if you really wanted to knock this out of the park... why not add in some features from Reddit Enhancement Suite? I dunno if anyone will ever consider porting RES over to Lemmy, but there were a lot of nice things like drag to zoom that I'll miss. if those features were implemented natively without needing an addon, that'd be super neat.
wrong, but I forgive your mistake
