  • Negatives help, you can also specify hands be concealed behind objects or whatnot. There really is no reliable method except training larger models, (eg SDXL gets it right a lot more often than standard SD models) or manually editing the image afterwards.

  • I've heard that statement nearly verbatim from people who were entirely serious - and judging from my upvote count (and the original comment downvotes), several others thought you were serious as well.

Edit - Wait, I thought you were the creator of the original comment - you aren't. There's still a very good chance this isn't sarcasm.

  • Ungoogled Chromium doesn't send data to Google servers, if that's what you are implying it is misinformation.

Also, Chromium is open source - you can very easily know what is being sent. I appreciate privacy awareness, but not baseless fearmongering.

  • My instance is using Cloudflare and has no issues with federation or mobile apps (I sent this reply with Connect).

Assuming a standard caching configuration, those services should not break under Cloudflare.

  • I'm aware of the original comment. I also agree that Lemmy can't be referred to as self hosted in the same way that Plex can, for example. I simply think they meant to say "can be" self hosted instead of "is".

  • I'm hosting and using my own instance personally, but the important part is that it's decentralized and federated. Think of it like email - businesses often have their own email servers they use to communicate with yours, unlike on Facebook or Reddit where all of it happens on their servers.
