Good advice. I'll add that any time you have to parse command line arguments with any real complexity you should probably be using Python or something. I've seen bash scripts where 200+ lines are dedicated to just reading parameters. It's too much effort and too error prone.

So if he falls to make bond and the state starts seizing assets, how does that work, exactly? They auction it to pay the lawsuit? What if Trump gets a bite on selling a property intending to make bond but it's a big real estate transaction and that takes time? Will he be allowed to finish the sale before the state seizes assets?

If you're making $100K you probably have a college degree and therefore student loans to pay as well.

And also because when people try to use neopronouns they take as much flak for that if not more. Imagine this same argument: "I'm not used to these newfangled pronouns. Why can't they just use normal ones?"

There's a better way to legislate/regulate this that conservatives are either intentionally overlooking or are just too ignorant to come up with on their own.

Instead of putting up easily circumvented barriers to accessing porn, why not require that sites which serve adult material be labeled with an HTML meta tag indicating as much? This puts responsibility for compliance on the content providers while allowing for parents to install applications on their kids' devices that deny access to that material. Parents can then have their parental rights to allow or deny access to this material while content providers are minimally burdened to set up the necessary protections. Nothing is outright banned, so everyone keeps their freedom to produce or consume porn. It also establishes a framework for indicating more granular detail about the kind of content offered on a per-page basis, allowing for finer parental controls (around, say, gambling or cryptocurrency or non-pornographic sexual material or violence or literally anything you like).

Disagree. A Trump/Biden debate probably doesn't move the needle much at all for anybody. Trump's brash refusal to debate with civility looks as good to his base as it looks bad to Biden's. I don't see a point. It only gives Trump air time he doesn't deserve.

Not surprised. What I saw that I haven't seen mentioned in the handful of news articles I've seen about this is that pretty consistently Biden was winning the Dem primaries with 80-90% of the vote with the remainder scattered among a few other options, maybe protest votes of a kind, while Haley was taking 30+% of the Republican votes. I don't honestly know how this compares to previous primaries. Could this be an indicator of some red reluctance for Trump? Will there be a similar follow through in the presidential election to tear Republican votes away from him?
