  • Israel's United Nations ambassador displayed a yellow star on his chest Monday as he addressed the Security Council, provocatively pledging to wear the badge until members of the body condemn Hamas "atrocities".

His wearing of the badge, which has come to symbolise the oppression of Jews since its imposition in Nazi-occupied Europe, was swiftly criticised by Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial, which urged him to wear the Israeli flag instead.

  • Whilst members of the Weaver family were illegally killed by the government at Ruby Ridge, what's less known is that Randy Weaver was hanging out with people from the Aryan Nation movement, and a believer in the Posse Comitatus theory of law.

It was White Nationalists that later erased these facts to promote the Weaver's story as they (rightly) believed it would inspire others into their life style.

Timothy McVeigh cited the story as one of the reasons for his bombing of a federal government building and its daycare centre.

  • The Rubber Plantations were run as corporate states, and 10 - 15 million people were killed. One of the biggest mass murders in the history of Colonial Capitalism.

Roughly equal to the numbers caused by the British East India company when they caused various famines in Bengal and India by exporting all their grain.

  • I predict a world where it's too hot for most to work, air-conditioning becoming mandatory everywhere, a slowing of development in terms of properties being built. The search for automation as a response. Cooling suits being widely used. The majority of the world's crops failing. Food stipends being delivered on specialised trucks to each home... Perhaps by a division of the military... People dying on mass in the third world and quietly in their rooms in the first. Rolling black outs become waves of death. Experts dying on the job trying to fix them. Skinny bodies fighting for life, or fighting each other for food. Death squads who think killing is the answer. A daily announcement of what percentage of the country is on fire... But we'll probably mostly be dying of thirst by then. Maybe it won't be so bad.

  • Philosophy? That's specifically Abraxas from Gnostic Christianity, so more about theology than Philosophy.

Abraxas (or Abracax) was an anguipede (a deity represented with snake feet) pagan God of "Asian theogonies" with a "rooster's head, dragon's feet and a whip in his hand".

"The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas."

  • Trump was having unrecorded meetings Putin and his staff regularly with no other Americans or white house staff present, only a Russian interpreter.

Some of the times when there was an official American interpreter, Trump would confiscate any notes or records of what was said

Trump was no doubt sharing documents with Russia.

Sorry for the Reddit link, but the post talking about this is:

  • For starters, Liberals are less violent, desire stability and an uplifting progression in social values, and tend to be fairly comfortable in themselves.

Other than that - when Liberals go far enough left, they become Socialists, and start to hate Liberals for their Capitalist elements and "economic liberalism"/neoliberalism.

When conservatives go far right, they turn into fascist conservatives... Conservatives, just more staunch, violent, and unreasonable.

  • Your comment about current models, known energy types, and universal pixels seems to ignore the post's topic (which isn't really about known models or energy types).

A better way to disregard the post would be to just point out that solar systems aren't that big in terms of scales of the universe, and that there's no indication of any charges, electrons, or valance layers about.
