  • Same for me, also on 0.18.3. It used to show the post with its parent but now I only geht the post.

  • TBH I'm migrating manually by synching files. Still wonder if it's worth the hassle to somehow export/import contacts & calendar instead of reproducing them by hand. I thought about feeding the mariadb the psql dump I used to create for backups but that's probably more work than doing things by hand.

One reason for me to try docker is "easier" backup. I just throw the whole data-directory of the db container into restic. Restoring the backup would just be starting a container with that saved directory. I hope that way I don't have to argue with the database about reading a huge sql dump.

Unfortunately the documentation is a bit weird, I think. There's the official all-in-one container that starts a container that starts more containers but that was a bit too much "magic" for my taste. I used the images and documentation maintained by the community here and ended up with this compose file I can manage in portainer. Runs nextcloud (with apache), mariadb and redis. Also had to add that final bit for the cron job. This way I can point my reverse proxy at the local ip of the nextcloud_apache container and be done with it.

  • That's how I ran my nextcloud for about a decade and never had problems. On my new server I'm running it in docker and so far it seems to work ok.

  • What's with the image quality? Was his camera also pedal operated or is that supposed to be art?

  • Created my first Reddit acc in 2008

  • How should I know? Maybe it contains downtime for maintenance or sth? Point is these numbers are based on yearly average so why write about 5 years?

  • But it's not superflouos? The number is apparently based on yearly average. Not on 5 year or over the total lifetime. And it does not produce only for 36,000 households but likely for many more. I don't see why thin seems so meaningless to you or annoys you so much.

  • Because it does not run at the same capacity 24/7. Sometimes it produces energy for 0 households and sometimes for 50,000. Total production in one year corresponds to the yearly consumption of 36,000 households.

  • I bought a pair of bone conducting headphones and those super light weight and comfortable. But I'm also someone who finds in ears very uncomfortable.

  • True, "Raising tensions" isn't exactly the point but strengthening against Russia is.

  • I think the day I have to reinstall Windows on my Desktop will be the day I'll replace it with Linux. Already use it on server and laptop but stuck with Windows for gaming. Anyone know if SteamVR works on Linux?

  • Take a look at the websites that posts you like link to and then check them out yourself regularly or use RSS as you mentioned.

Or just steal submissions from Reddit IDK

  • I'm not confused and I agree that he's an asshole. I still think its dumb to expect to get paid by Twitter when they take over your handle. Musk is not about good PR or good will, Hwang is lucky he wasn't called a pedo by Musk - yet. And there are indeed people here who believe they are entitled to compensation and think they own their stupid Twitter name. How is that confusing?

  • I don't have a "cause". But I see that you have no answer.

  • So what do users not agree to in my post but do with in this?

Also, what a fucking Reddit thing to do.

  • So you are saying one could log into @x with that...

  • Haha, me calling it dumb to think they'd be owed money is getting people super angry.

  • I think it's dumb to go "He got zero dollars for it." as it sounds like he was owed anything. I also feel that it creates confusion with people being paid for a TLD they owned (or "squatted" on) which is something very different from having a Twitter handle. But apparently that's just me.
