Religious books are specifically excluded, they did their homework.

Try it with an obscure book that doesn’t have any reviews online. Or with one that was released after 2021.

You'll either get the response that it has no idea, or it'll come up with a plot based on the title and evaluate that one.

In my city, there’s an extensive tramway network. About two decades ago, one of these trams derailed and crashed into a building containing a bank. There was one casualty: one bank employee.

Imagine working in a bank and then suddenly getting run over by a train at your workplace.

In my case, it was a hackerspace. It has windows to the street, so if the police would have happened to go along the street and see that, they could have intervened.

There was one report in the newspapers where they fined a small card playing organization due to that, but of course they were a group of people.

In my country, there was a mask mandate in all enclosed areas except private residences, even when you were the only person there.

That’s kinda a given, but way harder to fix than introducing weapons control.

They tried that with the video, it didn’t work.

That’s not extensive, that’s a five minute process in Blender. I didn’t have to touch a single vertex, it’s all global operations.

Star Craft 2 models aren’t hairy at all, because they’re really low poly. The engine has to be able to display hundreds of them on a single screen.

Some have some thorn-like protrusions, but I intentionally didn’t try to print them, since they’re way harder to get working.

My point is that you should criticize the reason, not the consequence.

Call me when you find a company that isn’t trying to sell stuff.

On YouTube, creators don’t earn anything unless a new video is released frequently. They have to sustain a huge corporation based on that. I think that it’s a bad decision to go for that income structure in the first place, but there they are.

I actually managed to extract the 3D assets from Star Craft 2 and print them, specifically the Baneling and the Ultralisk. I had to remesh them to make them manifold and subdivide to smooth the triangles, but they looked great in the end.

The only problem of the Baneling is that the center of gravity is nowhere near the feet, so it always tips over. Hollowing its body would probably help.

macOS has the NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains API.

For Windows, there’s also an API for that, but I don’t know it offhand.

That’s my experience on my machine running Ubuntu. The reason was that Discord ran in their snap sandbox, while my browser is not sandboxed. This leads to the sandboxes app not working together with xdg-desktop-portal, which means that screen sharing doesn’t work.

That mouse was so uncomfortable. It was built like a box, probably designed for a robot hand.

That makes it even more transformative.

That project has been dead for essentially a decade now.

It’s also the name of a certain mindreading academic.

Once entities like tax authorities require it for filing your taxes (or any other thing you absolutely have to do), that's not really an option any more.
