  • I'll be the first person to explain how the math on third party candidates doesn't work out, but I'm really not into this "blocking them from the ballot" thing. Whether it's the Dems with Cornell West and the Green Party or the Republicans with the Libertarians and RFK Jr.

  • I mean, if there wasn't fourty years worth of context for why this is bad, I'd agree with it.

Like, it could mean infrastructure projects or a renewed investment in education or something. But alas it honestly just means "destroy and loot America by deceiving uneducated rural whites" at this point.

  • And to what would not having life accomplish? What is the point of not having life? How is there beauty in the lack of life when only things that have life even have a concept of beauty? Your viewpoint requires you to believe in some type of inherent value that doesn't exist.

  • I think the Ukraine situation does more to increase the favorability of military spending than anything with China.

But mostly I think America being late to intervene in WWII still hangs over the American public's heads (to me it would seem this is the point when anti-interventionism stopped being the norm.)

  • He strikes me as more a rube that occasionally picks up alt-right talking points than a dedicated follower. At least on one occasion he called out Moon, a shitty right wing video essayist, for lying, but he went really hard on anti-Sweet Baby Inc. content.

So I guess he could unintentionally? But intention doesn't really matter here. His fanbase probably leans right too.

  • My hand might be forced someday.

Otherwise, I'd need a specific destination and reason to want to live there instead of "I don't want to live here." I make a point to not have "grass is greener" syndrome, sometimes to a fault.
