    That's banned in the US under the Civil Rights Act of 1965 because it was used to cut racial minorities out of the voting process. I can also think of a bunch of other ways this could be abused.

  • My recollection was that the game was already down to just iOS or Android by the time this came out. Windows Phone still existed, but it was already being ignored by popular apps like Snapchat.

    Plus the people who even knew about this (tech people) didn't like the "everything is a web app" idea when Chrome OS did it, much less a smartphone.

  • You're getting chastised because you're probably the kind of person who is constantly criticizing Americans for their Amerocentric worldview, and yet here you are spreading blatant Eurocentrism.

    Americans are tired of the hypocrisy, and the rest of the world doesn't like it any more from Euroids than they do from Yanks.

  • Schools are handing out Linux to students...just not GNU/Linux; a lot of schools opt for Chrome OS which uses the Linux kernel.

    Linux is already the market leader in every computing segment except desktops (even mobile when you factor in Android.)
