Most places recommend The Player of Games for the first novel to read.

But go on take up a nice white chair and read Use of Weapons.

This is my feeling about LD to a T. I still don't get why some people seem to think it's the best thing since DS9, but it's not bad.

That's such a good term for early Discovery and pretty much all of Picard.

Season one every episode was solid 4-4.5 stars. Season 2 had a real mix, mostly hitting around 4 stars but with one that's got to make its way into the top ten episodes of all time, and one that's got to make it into the bottom ten.

First season is really good. Second is a bit hit and miss.
