Not really down with burning the books, just that Rowling is using money from the series to fund a campaign against trans people.

I’m not going to spend money that someone is going to use to turn around and attack my rights with.

Like, if I was in the UK - it would be illegal for me to piss basically anywhere. Trans women are supposed to use the men’s, but because trans men are autistic self hating lesbians (the kind of shitty propaganda that bitch funds) we don’t exist and can’t piss in the men’s or the women’s.

I’m not very opposed to the mediocre children’s book series for their content - it’s just typical “the status quo is good actually.” I’m not going to give money to people who are using their money to hurt me.

As someone who loves books, I avoid print-on-demand. Most of the time they end up with terrible, jpeg artifact ridden covers, disorganized page breaks, and terrible quality text.

Mental health justice - primarily for children.

Mental health care in southern states is a hell right now. A lot of child welfare agencies have taken Trump’s election as permission to stop functioning.

I also used to work with a lot of undocumented children, but it’s no longer safe to be a trans teacher. So I do independent outreach, education. Trying to make all children feel valued.

If they kill their abuser, they are actually likely to end up in jail themselves.

Up a little in Oklahoma, that’s why we have one of the highest incarceration rates of women in the states/world - a lot of those women are in there for fighting back.

I’m genuinely trying. I have a very specific mission I’ve been working on for a year. There has been no success. There is no support. I need community, I need to see others doing the same.

I have done everything short of violence, and I cannot do violence.

Work is entirely disconnected from reward.

They add sugar to everything. Food marketing is insane, and so much of it should be illegal.

Sometimes I want to buy juice that doesn’t have a shitload of sugar in it. Getting a loaf of bread will involve eating extra sugar. The country subsidizes corn, so high fructose corn syrup is added to everything.

Unregulated hell capitalism means that food gets to be pumped full of shit. Broke and stressed people rely on convenience foods - which don’t need to be unhealthy but are purposefully made so with addictive ingredients.

Give me a factory job please. Give me a 9-5 with health insurance that pays me enough to live.
