  • Work towards your retirement.

You NEVER know what tomorrow will bring. Imagine that your retirement goal is age 50 but at age 45 you get injured and can’t work anymore. How screwed are you?

If you can retire even a year earlier, then that means if you WANT to continue working beyond that date you can. But if your boss is an ass then you can walk out.

Nothing says you have to continue working or that you can’t continue working. It becomes a choice.

Imagine you retire at 50 but at 51 you are injured and bed ridden. Would have been nice to see more of the world before that happens.

    Take care of you.

  • As a landlord (with only one house) I do not understand why a landlord would raise the rent unless they need to. Think of it this way. If I charge $675 a month and the competition jumps their price to $1,000 a month, who is everyone going to come to?

I get the pick of the best tenants. Why would I raise the rent? Should note I live where I do not have to rent to the first person that shows up.

If the competition suddenly goes to $3,000 a month and I stay at $675, and I maintain my place so it isn't a shit hole, I'll have lines around that block of people wanting to rent. Why would I raise my rent unless I have to?

Have to raise the rent is defined as: my costs increase, so then I raise the rent the same amount.

  • Depends on the level of disability we are talking about. Slightly hard of hearing, have the kids.

Blind, dead, mute, and numb to most sense of being touched. That's just cruel.

But I guess are we talking aborting the fetus, or do you mean something else?

  • Dei is reason for:

Global hunger, micro plastics, long lines at the voting booths, the lies about there being long lines at the voting booths, shoes not being comfortable, electronics not lasting very long, cars breaking down, bad bridges, pot holes, bad drivers, long wait times at the doctor, sun burns, fat people, diabetics, no cure for cancer, bad singers on singing shows, ….

  • We bought a front loader last year and we can already see the extra wear in clothes. We went back and were told yeah that can happen since the machine runs so much faster then old machines.

    Clothes are wearing out faster

Edit even after a few washings a t-shirt is showing wear signs

  • Stuffing and mashed potatoes.

Most places have their stuffing way to moist. I want stuffing, not bread that looks like it was dropped in water. Boxed stuffing shouldn't even be sold. It tastes like garbage.

Get some bread. Tear it up. Let it dry. Add some chicken broth. Add some seasoning. That means go to store and buy the different seasonings. Like garlic powder. Sage, thyme, etc.

Then put it on the oven. The moisture comes from gravy.

Mashed potatoes... Yeah most times people add way to much to the mashed potatoes.

Edit and for the gravy that means you make a chicken or a turkey you get the broth and you make the gravy.

  • Toss up : a coworker who I would have counted as quite intelligent said we haven't been to the moon because "it's impossible to launch a rocket to the moon and land on it because rockets go in a straight line. Trying to time the shot of the rocket, and get to the moon at the exact moment when the moon gets to the right spot would be astronomically impossible. The odds of pulling that off at the speed you would be traveling and the distance you travel... Well the odds are effectively zero."

"Also you can't catch up to the moon because the moon is traveling faster then our rockets can go "

Either that or a prochoice individual who voted for Trump....

  • Part of the problem is a lot of programs that people who understand tech think is simple or obvious is actually stupidly wrote and confusing and illogically set up.

Older people rely on logic. And most interfaces are the opposite of logical.

Younger people have this idea of "press a bunch of buttons and once you see how it works, then memorize the steps ".

I'm going to guess that she has said something to the effect of "why is this so complicated"?

The only issue I take is that she won't keep track of the new password that she creates. That to me is laziness.

  • They don’t really get a choice. The only thing they get to do is say yes the votes counted up the way or no they didn’t. It isn’t like Congress gets to just decide

Meh fuck it we won’t certify. Even if they did. Then it goes to the courts (regardless of who the justices are or who put them there, the courts will order Congress to certify the election)
