This sounds like something that hasn't been true for 5-10 years tbh. At least not within the Pixel family. I upgrade phones without a single hiccup. My older phones are still around and used daily by my kids with no problema. I've had to wipe a phone and restore from the cloud backup and it was a matter of minutes to be usable, and was effectively like nothing had happened as soon as my apps and their data finished downloading.
They care because they want it to look like both sides are just pulling political stunts with impeachment. Trump was impeached twice and that looks pretty bad. Unless you can play a game that turns impeachment into a "move" that "everyone does now."
And he's accomplished so hilariously little compared to the other billionaires out there. Not that they deserve billions either, but look at Google and the ridiculous progress they've made, and innovations they've created, and code they've open sourced. Steve wants to be among such "peers" in terms of wealth while having done relatively nothing.
Don't worry, we do get to sell our excess energy back to the grid. I can earn a very generous fixed 2.8 cents per kWh that I generate, but have the privilege of paying no less than 7 cents, but up to 25c at peak, per kWh.
Oh and somehow my peak hours are different than they were before I had solar. Because the grid struggles to produce power at different times for different people.
I haven't done this variation but what I will say is that barrier (formerly synergy, which is still around but no longer free and open) is a great app for using two machines and their monitors as if they're one. I've used it for a desktop plus laptop all the time. Even works on a steam deck.
