@alertsleeper That makes sense. I don't think it will though. Lemmy is (in comparison to Mastodon and others) more restricted. With a Lemmy profile you can't see posts which aren't part of a Lemmy community.. so as long as Threads users don't make a lot of posts in Lemmy communities you won't see their content.
I don't think you have anything to worry about there.
@mim this is a spiritual practice.
There are many techniques one can use but here i will give one example:
if let's say you want more money or better health - the desire can be anything, you can say affirmations in your mind as if the thing you want is already true. for example "I have the best health in the world" or "I always have more money than I need".
As you continue this practice it will be normalized in your mind and you will believe it more and more. The belief makes the subconscious mind manifest it in the external world in one way or another.
When you succeed in manifesting things, your faith will grow and it will eventually become easier as the mind will more easily pick it up, when one has faith in what he/she is saying to him/herself.
@DidacticDumbass But yeah you're right. It's a mess nowadays with email hosting because Google for example just rejects everything except the other big services even if you comply with DKIM etc. Fuck them honestly
@nutomic@ionhowto you dont have to sign up on multiple instances. if you want to comment a post on another instance, copy the url and paste in into the search field and then your current instance will fetch the post so you can comment on it.
@jakob
Well good point 😂 the problem is that it's very few platforms which are supporting subjects , not only Mastodon who doesn't. You will also have problems from Misskey and Pleroma for example. @jakob
@SUPERcrazy3530 @peppy Completely agree. If they disconnect later we are just back where we are now - so literally no loss. Only win by connecting
