If you have a perfectly normal (non-pathological) lack of confidence then pretending to be confident may allegedly help you. A cynic could remark that that requires knowing what that looks like and being able to pull it off, while almost nobody offering that particular "advice" seems to feel a huge need to elaborate on it.
The videos being paid is not YT's choice, the channel owner must've set that specifically on those ranks for those videos.
Being visible despite being unavailable, seen 4149743 times before, plain crap, obvious junk with 45 views on a 2 sub channel, already specifically hidden, already specifically blocked, etc. etc etc etc etc... those are definitely Youtube though.
BlockTube may have a feature for this, it addresses some of those other cases. Or you could potentially hack together a uBlock rule for it ("any video on the front page that has this stupid price tag thing")
Can I non-jokingly ask why that's such a big deal? If it's all up in your grill I get it, or some stupid liability thing. Otherwise, there's little enough joy in the world, what's the harm?
Yes - unexpectedly, on a game that's pretty much a decade old. Modders are not expected to maintain stuff that long, because when does that ever happen?
"You're welcome" was always taught to me as the proper thing, but sounds slightly stilted. They express the same sentiment, roughly, but "[it was] no problem" is arguably clearer about it. I personally just think it's a slightly "nicer" nuance.
Of course, sometimes maybe it actually was a problem, and then I'd only say it if going out of my way to be nice about it.
I'd assume they were trying to pimp me to some buzzwordoholic. I don't see any reasonable interpretation of it that's insulting, though.
Having it be (perceived as) the norm is absolutely stupid - but the issue is with ignorant management and recruiters, not people who get into entire stacks honestly for fun or profit.
Wouldn't surprise me. If you're not into ragebait, tankieism, linux smugness, the painful minutiae of corporations fucking everyone, US bullshit, or all of the above... this place is really pretty slow.
I only really browse "all" on this site and it does seem like fresh content trickles in at a fairly slow rate. At least part of that is that it needs to squeeze by what is now pages and pages of blocked communities just trying to avoid the doomposting.
Oh, no no, capitalism welcomes competition, don't'y'know.
Just as long as it doesn't mess with the profit margins.
