  • Is the APTX-HD latency good enough for gaming? (And can be used for VoIP?).

I don't know much about BT... But I know that my Pixel buds series A, have terrible latency for gaming unless I use them in headset mode (which then has terrible quality).

  • Barcelona A/C all the day at 24C (25C or 26C when sleeping). However to me it's been always hot here. So I'm not particularly suffering this summer more than the others.

  • Smoothest one is the power app Voyager. But it lacks lot of cached content (everytime redraws as we scroll).

I'm honestly waiting for Boost for Lemmy My favourite in Reddit was Infinity (smoothest one as well) but Boost was also great. Same level of quality.

  • To me both are nice. But Android of course is more aligned to the other android apps. So once Android theme goes out of beta I'll switch permanently.

  • Maybe it's the same case. But my carrier is so medieval that charges me 15โ‚ฌ everytime I need to print a new QR code to pair my esim with a device and they only issue this in a physical form. So this is why I would not give it a shot haha.

  • Thanks, now I understood.

So it's not like having a user in Lemmy.world Vs Lemmy.nl. It's beyond that.

  • Can you connect to the same user if you switch? For example a Kbin user can use a Lemmy app like Voyager or the opposite?

  • It could be a good thing. Maybe they won't bother about people blocking ads because they become even less than before.

So maybe you need to pause the ad block a lot less.

  • Great. So now I only have the 2023 chats which are 95% of them initiated by bots unlike previous years.

  • I created mine using "Edgerouter X". Wireguard VPN. But I don't use it a lot because I'm currently WFH.

    I really liked this router.

  • Haha I agree! Fromsoftware games are among the few that are addictive for me even if I'm tried.

Now I'm stuck in TOTK. I want to complete it so I can move on with other games. (I hate leaving single player games unfinished).

  • Me too...but at least now I sleep a bit more because I don't have to commute between home and office..

  • I still couldn't find an app that I like the same way I like Infinity.

    • Performance: Infinity is smoother than the 3 apps I tested so far. (Especially when my phone gets hot cause summer)
    • Post Layout: For a compact layout I think I prefer boost's "Small cards", however perfection to me would be Boost's "Small Cards" with community icon/avatar.
  • To me Firefox is the best browser.

I use Chrome because I'm lazy to move, I have my stuff synced in there and I use it also with my phone (Google Pixel). But lately I'm considering Firefox more and more. At least I now have it installed in my phone and specifically use it for some stuff.

  • And I suggest checking infinity for Reddit for a good reference of how this could work.

    • Normal (or after scrolling up):

    • When navigating / after scrolling down (even the top status bar from android goes translucent):

  • And are we using/seeing/editing kbin content from our Lemmy instances? Or it's isolated from us? (Like Reddit)
