I know I'm the weird one but I liked 8 and Vista more than 7.

Space. They're killing radio astronomy, endangering optical astronomy and threatening everything else in orbit, from telecoms, to earth observation, to the ISS.

They're also spreading rare earth metal everywhere when the satellites burn up and wasting a lot of energy to get them up there when we're facing an energy crisis.

My plan is to have a Windows VM for when I can't make it work, but Wine should cover most cases.

I'm using an anonymous browser and for me often DDG has better results than Google now. My Google-fu used to be on point but recently I can't seem to find sites that aren't SEO traps.

I've had issues cooking shrimps at high temperatures as the stove wouldn't stay in high power mode. Temperature needs to ramp up or down, which is not the case for gas.

For cleaning, the surface becomes hotter then electric coil stoves or gas since on those cases the surface isn't in contact with anything hot. I've found that the glasstop gets stained or scratched super easily and you have to be super careful in how you clean it.

I do have to agree with your final points, but here's an advantage to compensate: you can cook in the event of a power cut.
