Not OP, but I believe he means he restricted outside internet access to that device (restricted communications to the thermostats MAC address to other internal devices)
LG and Samsung TVs were already on my "do-not-buy" list with their ad ridden UIs, sounds like they're just getting worse. Only a matter of time before they require you to connect them to the Internet to use them
I'm still quite excited for matrix as well, but it's nowhere near the polish of Signal ATM and it's not something I'd want to be tech support for 15-ish people on
I'm still incredibly frustrated they did that. I often heard "I'll just text you" in reply to "I'm leaving snap". Having an all-in-one app would've made that so much easier.
I had to do some configuration with pulse audio on fedora to get these at 24 bit, otherwise they'll work out of the box. I haven't tried running their app in wine or anything, but it works as an audio device out of the box
Been avoiding nzxt for years after I bought an H1 and it was a heaping pile of shit. PSU, AIO, and the included riser all failed within about a year of use. They sent my a replacement AIO with no fans and no mounting hardware (I missed that the bracket was still on, they did warn to take any accessories off but the fan was zip tied from the factory). Same with the PSU which they sent with no cables, which was visibly a different model than what I had cables for before, after arguing for a month to try and get them to send me anything. Didn't even bother with the riser, moved to a different case and just advised my friends against buying from them
Hope to see this back ported to my surround sound system, but I doubt it
