  • I used both Spotify and Tidal, I have upper mid range headphones and I couldn't tell the difference in quality.

I'm now using YouTube Music because it costs the same as Spotify (around $4 in my country) but I also get YT Premium, so no YT ads on mobile either. On desktop I'm using an ad blocker, so by having premium I can support the creators that I watch without wasting my time with ads.

  • Probably Typescript, it has so many quality of life features that I miss when I'm using anything else. A close second is C#, Kotlin third.

    Rust when performance really matters.

PowerShell when scripting and automating stuff. It's common to hate it because "microsoft bad" but it's very logical and it feels modern. Funnily enough, I've only used it on Mac and Linux.

  • I had an art teacher when I was around 12 years old who hated my guts. I wasn't the most well behaved student but the things she did was sometimes petty other times aggressive.

She once threw a water bottle at me because I had a chat with the guy next to me. She missed but the bottle damaged the wall next to me.

She told my girlfriend to stay after class because she wants to talk to her. She spent 10 minutes trying to get her to break up with me.

She never failed to tell me that I'm a good for nothing and I'll probably end up as a homeless drunk and I'll live beside the road.

She always made fun of my drawings and paintings trying to humiliate me in front of the class.

I wasn't her only target, she had one in every class.

  • There's a difference between respecting someone and treating them with respect. True respect has to be earned, while everyone should be treated with respect by default (until they give you a reason not to).

If your teacher is an asshole, depending on your situation, it might be in your best interest to act as if you respected them for your own sake.

  • I started playing just before the Netflix show came out and I loved it, it quickly became one of my favorite open world car games, in the same tier as San Andreas and Sleeping Dogs.

By the end I became completely unstoppable, I played as a melee netrunner and it was insane. I didn't really mind because the story and world more than made up for it.

  • Once a day before going to bed. I work in an office with AC, but if I did physical labor I'd probably also shower as soon as I got home.

On hot summer nights I also shower in the morning before going to work.

  • Notable Thief Rule could be Grand Theft Auto?

Notable - grand and thief - theft make sense, I don't know what to think about rule - auto, tho.

Edit: I think it's Notable Thief Auto, not Rule, so it all comes together now.

Also, Alloy Cog Stable is Metal Gear Solid

  • I hated this in GTA (mainly 3 and SA). You're doing an escort mission and suddenly 6 guys start shooting at you with AKs from nowhere because you pissed them off in an unrelated quest.

I prefer a Morrowind-like approach where enemies don't scale and you have to take care not to venture too deep into some crazy gang's territory early on.

But it's much much harder to make this work properly, and scaling enemies have become an expectation by players at this point.

  • I haven't seen the memes only mentions of it but if you're talking about Stroganoff, I assumed it was a joke that it's rich people food.

Where I live it's mostly associated with cheap buffet style restaurants, although they make it from pork, not beef.

  • Unscrew the shower handle and put red food coloring inside just before she showers. Preferably use the type that's solid and needs a few minutes to dissolve in water.

You could also mention beforehand that you think the water smells funny.

(Just kidding, don't try this unless you want to be evil)

  • I'm not an expert on American politics but my impression is that there are a bunch of people with conservative attitudes towards change, and politicians know exactly how to play them.

They get riled up with the proper slogans and become what you have described. I'm not saying they are innocent victims here, they definitely should know better and everything they do is on them, but I still think this is mostly what's going on.
