  • Maybe we shouldn’t have the idea of a dead end job in the first place. Almost all work should be valid and provide livable wages. There shouldn’t be a class of jobs “just for kids”. As if their time is less valuable anyways. This is a super late stage capitalist viewpoint.

  • The problem is most doctors don’t have experience with any of these medications. Going to folks who have experience isn’t a terrible idea. As long as you know to do additional validation and talk with your doctor. I never would’ve heard of vyvanse if not for folks online.

  • I think you’re dealing with miniscule differences overall between each machine. It can be hard to discern who is just parroting something they heard from Lance vs things that are objective facts. If you’re chasing perfection I’d be looking at something more expensive. But there’s also your beans which is an easier thing to account for. How fresh are they, what kind of varietals are you choosing. Try different origins and see how the tastes change. I think that would get you much further than worrying about which grinder to upgrade to.

Ie if you don’t already have practiced tastes it might be better to focus on that before anything else. It’ll help you experiment with something more fun like different flavors rather than eeking more or better flavor from your existing stock.

  • I face this issue but it’s a bit more positive for me. Once I beat a game I don’t usually wanna go back to it. But I stretched out BotW for 6 years until TOTK came out by just never fighting ganon. I’ve done this for quite a number of games and it really works. Same for Elden Ring. Once I beat that game and went to Ng+ though I just wandered aimlessly not having near as much fun as the first play through.

  • I’d go for a df64 if you don’t mind single dosing. Great grinder, in your budget, and is comparable to slightly higher priced models. But I’d say if you like the coffee you’re making there’s really no need to change. I wouldn’t let fomo guide your decision unless you’re wanting something new and different in your coffee.

  • I agree. I don’t know if I care personally the standards set for women as compared to the ones set for me that I don’t like. The issue with standards in certain areas for men can easily stand on their own. I only say that because I’ve found it reverts to a fight about other standards held against women that ARE terrible and well documented. They are still 100% valid, just not the topic at hand per se. I’m probably rambling but just throwing out some of my own thoughts as I’ve worked through the things we’re talking about.
