  • The fault here is not necessarily Musk. He asked these Politicians (and others like them) to reduce the barriers to putting money into Politics. These politicians agreed.

    Remember this.

You didn’t enable him by voting for this. These alarmed politicians changed the laws to permit it. We need to be asking our politicians to get rid of these laws, and then tax billionaires out of existence.

  • Genmoji is a waste of space. The image generation is really bad (but then again, most of these platforms are). The writing tools are mediocre. About all that is moderately useful is that Siri seems a little better and processing commands.

If they want to start charging for this, I’m out.

  • The goal of this is to try and persuade the majority of people that he was reasonable. Right now, they’re scared as there are a lot of people talking about serious change. Social change.

Little, however, will come of it unless it coalesces and drags along the majority into opting out of the system.

Until he was arrested, Mangione was Neo in the Matrix. Now he’s be captured, the Agent Smiths of this world are cleaning up

  • I suspect about 40% of the population would approve. Our rural population is very similarly aligned with rural Americans, which is why they’re all rooting that that vapid, low impact Trump-alike Polievre who is running essentially unopposed right now. I can see him rolling over if Trump and his good squad came a-knocking.

It’s also possible that Trump watched the first twenty minutes of the movie Canadian Bacon and thought it was his daily brief.

  • Canada really hasn’t. For some reason, people think the world listens to Canadian opinions. They don’t, but it’s helpful when they parrot the COP party lines. Helps spread the blame if everyone agrees.

The problem is more to do with the politicians willingness to ignore the electorate and instead take corporate money. It’s the same pretty much everywhere.

    Until that changes, nothing improves.
