@Bottomracer@Forcemajeure123 I've tried Uyghur food before β albeit not at that restaurant β and it was delicious π
I forget what it was called, but it was a dish where noodles were chopped up into little squares, mixed with chopped up veggies, and cooked in a sauce, with a choice of meats (optional if you're vegetarian).
@Seagoon@SituationCake When I start feeling that way, it's usually a sign for me that something has to change, or I need a bigger goal to look forward to.
Is it time to take up a new hobby? New job? Move house? Do something on the weekend you wouldn't normally do? Join a community group? Plan something? Catch up with an old friend or meet a new one?
@Seagoon I'm very much a pack early/leave early person. My partner tends to leave everything to the last minute (although she's slowly learning about leaving early).
I'm the kind of person whose suitcase is fully packed a week ahead of time. She's the kind of person whose suitcase is fully packed the night before β because I've packed it.
A lot of FoI requests come from the media (Josh Taylor from The Guardian is notorious for them), or from industry groups, businesses, and parliamentary staff.
They're probably not used to media requests that have come through from the customer service team, rather than their media relations team.
Typos in internal emails are not that surprising.
Did you end up cracking the spreadsheet? Did you find out anything interesting from the documents you got?
@Gurre@fuckcars The road lobby's big answer to the mess they've created with the Rozelle Interchange is to build a second road tunnel under Sydney Harbour.
Engineers at the inquiry into the Rozelle Interchange fiasco have already testified that will only create traffic jams elsewhere on the road network: https://aus.social/@ajsadauskas/112383313109173146
@Forcemajeure123 I just mentioned Uyghur food to wifey.
She really doesn't like onions, but likes the taste of their food otherwise.
(And by "really doesn't like onions", I mean I've seen her pick out every piece of diced onion from a dish before.)
I'm not sure if it's just the restaurant we went to, but they had lots of pieces of finely diced onion in their dish, so that's a non-starter for her.
