Some women I know in this position believe they're somehow different or better than the people who the cops treat like animals and that it would never happen to them, only to the undesirables that deserve it. Over 40% of them are wrong according to statistics.

Thats not even unrealistic to me when I remember the fact Gazas been bombed more in two weeks that Afghanistan ever got in a full years time. Afghanistan has a land area of a quarter of a million square miles and Gaza has an area of under 150 square miles.

Texas, as well as plenty other states, aren't even in full compliance with the ADA which is a law over 30 years old, it's an ongoing fight that really started with the legal case Olmstead vs LC and moved into the seeking of consent decrees in recent years. To my knowledge none of the states that are infracting the ADA have been threatened with funding revocation or financial penalties of any kind. I doubt money will play any part of this. They'll just run it through the courts until the people who are doing this dont have jobs anymore I'd wager, if they do anything at all.

That's the Christian heaven and hell as I understand them too. From when I was being taught from someone who had studied the scripture, as a theologian, in an intense historical and philosophical way said the only canon Christians have on hell is that it is living without god. A lot of the imagery of Christian hell is about as biblically supported as Santa Claus. I could be wrong but that man knew more about Every Abrahamic religion than anyone id ever conversed with, and plenty of non Abrahamic ones too.

Those bands have great uses too imo, further range than 5g, great for beacons, telemetry, low bandwidth send and recieve. Could be really useful and the only upside of discontinuatuon is maybe they'll let me and the other amateur radio operators play around on segments of those bands eventually. All the stuff you kick off the 2/3g networks will need to be updated and start clogging the 5g bands. Needless traffic on frequencies that could be reserved for denser traffic. Im sure profits will rise slightly for maybe a year or two though, so clearly a worthwhile decision.

Puritans in Massachusetts are the reason Rhode Island exists and maintained indepedence when lots of early small colonies got absorbed into what became the other New England states. Roger Williams was like: fuck these guys, they said they wanted freedom of religion and I believed them. So after he obtained the land, he went back to the king to ratify the transfer which lead to borders that weren't easily dissolved.

Something tells me the Isrealis in power care less about the hostages than they do about getting to kill people. It seems like between the people they represent and the people who financially support them, they're the only ones who want to charge in with little to no regard for hostages.

Before the Isreal Hamas flare up I saw reports saying the US was mulling the idea of ground presence in Haiti. The military looks more apt to try and find problems to insert themselves rather than not spend taxpayer money. God forbid they let their budget go down.

It's no surprise the ratcheting rightward of global politics is coinciding with increased war and violent conflict, they fuel each other. Peace is bad for the fascist so I'd be very wary if I was Argentine.
