  • As far as I'm concerned any soldier who operates with the IDF forces right now can fucking stay there. I don't want to let ethnic cleansers back into the country and you shouldn't either. Soldiers have not only a right but a duty to not to follow orders that would classify as a war crime, claiming orders came from a superior does not legally vacate you from responsibility for the action, and the full weight of the consequences will go to you.

  • For reference, in the US in 2023, if you are a family of two and your combined annual income is $19,800.00 you are considered to be above the poverty line. This figure represents income BEFORE taxes are taken out.

  • Defeated and hopeless mostly. Almost the same as I felt funding the war in the middle east after looking at the casualties and reading testimonies from US soldiers. It's long weighed heavily on me that half of every dollar I'm required to pay to the government is used to kill people who have nothing to do with me, especially as someone whose worked since he was 16. The war in the middle east was met with the largest protests in US history at the time and nothing changed. We then elected a democrat who was given a noble peace prize, he kept the war going and killed many civilians with drone strikes. I don't even own a house and the rate at which my savings are stacking up, there's not much I can even afford to do. Welcome to the machine.

  • Looking at the history of the any of the Clandestine US orgs should probably remind us these people will do literally anything that they can, like give people LSD in an attempt to control their mind, or put microphones in Russian cats.

  • They are, but the question has always been how much evil is acceptable to you, because the democrats know what they are and they'll run whoever they can get away with. The worse the Republican option is, the lower the quality of candidate the Dems will forward. They know what their donors want.

  • I mean comparing a frozen vegetable patty to a whole frozen meal is a bit of a stretch in quality and affordability imo. Honestly a lot of it has to do with things like how many pans and utensils you use too. Even if I make a burger from ground beef its still only one pan, two cutting boards (one for meat one for veg) and all the fresh produce just needs to be washed and cut, if you wanna grill the onions, same pan no problem, all you need is a knife and a spatula. When I tried to make butter chicken the tastiest recipe called for two different marinades and a sauce you make in stages. I can go over the video and look at the kitchen hardware necessary but I think it's easy to imagine its a lot more. I've found quite a few Indian recipes in particular are similar that way so it seemed topical.
