rescues are great. I got my girl from a shelter, and she's the greatest cat anyone could ask for. I love her dearly.

Ted died a few months ago of suicide, but he was deathly ill with cancer. So he would have died shortly after anyways.

it's really fucking stupid. We give care and consideration to pets, and if we did to pets what we do to the animals we eat, we'd get locked up for years. It's called speciesism.
