  • Don't you just press shift 7 times and then click yes? What can you even do on a keyboard if you can't do that? It seems like they intentionally made it easier to enable than completing pretty much any other task on a keyboard.

  • I mean, considering how widespread the hobby seems to be and how long limited forms of it have been around, I wouldn't be surprised if evolution had a hand in it even if people don't consciously perceive themselves as doing makeup for that reason. It's kind of like how people tend to get bored of the same food if they eat it too much because the same taste over and over stops being interesting, but really, that mechanism promotes a more diverse diet that covers more nutritional requirements.

  • Yeah, and no ads unless they're inserted by either the podcast creator or distributor. I do wish we had some sort of sponsorblock equivalent, but I know that AntennaPod doesn't have any sort of backend, so implementing those features would be a pretty big undertaking.

  • What do you do connecting to the servers that's actually more convenient to do on your phone instead of waiting to be on a computer? I installed Termux because like, "Cool! A Linux terminal on my phone!" but I haven't figured out what to actually use it for.

  • Just sharing my opinion: I'm not a fan of these kinds of posts. You're obviously not the asshole and it feels like you just posted this for validation. There is no ambiguity here and the post definitely gives off reddit-esque, "AITA for leaving my boyfriend of 2 months after he cheated on me with 9 people and stole a family heirloom worth $200,000 to fund his heroin addiction?" vibes.

  • This is what people don't understand and is why so many freedom and privacy-violating practices have invaded modern life. That being said, a nerfed version of this clause that only prevents you from selling it for more than you bought it for would be great for preventing scalping.
