60 days notice is standard on Mastodon, it would be nice to see instances commit to that.

Oh you can’t instance ban yet just ban from communities.

There is an option for mods to ban.

Yep this. Call in sick, quit, max out your credit, go halfway around the world, do literally whatever is needed to be done to see a total eclipse if you haven't been able to experience it yet. It's unreal.

For now you can tap the "X" in the top right. Tap to dismiss anywhere is possible in the future, would probably be best to make a Github issue to track.

Yeah this is something I want to add. Should not be too bad. Can you give some specific examples? I assume you want to block specific (and entire) domains.

Oh it would be cool to see filter by instance for the getPosts endpoint too!

hmm, I don't think Lemmy's API allows for filtering communities by instance. That would be a really cool feature though!
