Yeah text select on iOS safari is pretty glitchy.

On iOS I have two suggestions:

• use long press space bar to move cursor
• double tap word to start highlight, then change selection with grab bars

Reader mode and setting to open in default browser are available in the native app 😊

Ah, it’s only available for the native app.

You can also enable reader mode by default in the native app.

There’s a lot more settings in the native app 😅
