Thanks for taking the feedback and continuing to work on this. Honestly, I thought you had given up on the app when you went on that fishing trip that just seemed to keep continuing 😆. Not knocking you - everyone deserves time to themselves. But glad to see this app is still something you’re working on!
Honestly, it’s a couple things. First of all is just general compatibility. There are certain domains that don’t play at all (redgifs, for example). They just show up as links to click. Then, there are ones that are a little more transient, but still negatively affect the UX. An example is if you browse !videos@lemmy.world right now. The first post there (https://aussie.zone/post/6569161) won’t load for me in the feed, and will only load if I click into the post. Once it’s loaded, I can go back out and it’ll play in the feed - but no matter how many times I try or how long I wait, it won’t play in the original feed. Additionally, the play/pause, sound controls, and scrubbing controls are only available if I click into the post. They work, but it’s less convenient.
Ok well…I sustained an injury to the tip of my dick and it turns out that’s a location that rubs on the material of your boxers or pants all the time. So I was in pretty constant discomfort. Decided to try a bandaid, and of course the standard ones really don’t sit all that flush and they would just snag and pull off inside my underwear. Then I tried one of those waterproof ones and it conformed to the shape perfectly. “Don’t worry, you won’t forget about something attached to the tip of your penis,” I told myself. But damn if those things don’t sit so comfortably you completely forget they’re there. And by god let me tell you, the absolute shock, fear, and confusion a man can feel when he’s dick in hand, has relaxed all his bladder muscles, and fully expects to start peeing, only for some phantom-handed chokehold to hold it all back a half second after release…well it’s not something you’re likely to forget.
I know this is a joke but as a burgeoning espresso snob, I can’t help myself from explaining:
A ristretto’s importance is in its stronger coffee flavor. It’s the same amount of coffee, but with less water run through the grounds. In a standard espresso, that last little bit of coffee added beyond a ristretto pull is much more watery, and so it mellows out the flavor. A ristretto is sharper and more of a punch. In my opinion, its most effective use is in a flat white, in which the aim is to remove as much water from the equation as possible and really let the coffee flavor shine through into the smaller amount of milk. Both ingredients’ flavors are more apparent in a flat white than in, say, a latte, which is in some regards a watered down flat white.
Drink fast & lift big 💪
(or set it down occasionally like the other commenter said, idk)
