yeah but it's manual over USB right? You used to be able to set it to back up automatically once per day over wifi.

I think a better argument would be to make apple let you use other cloud providers for functionality like backups, or provide some way to automatically back up locally (iTunes used to do this). Still probably won’t work in the US, but might in Europe.

I think my tastes have remained mostly the same, it’s the industry that is losing me as a customer for two reasons:

1. more and more games now are based on shit that I hate - multiplayer, GaaS, micro transactions, copy and paste gameplay mechanics with new coats of paint, etc.
2. studios that used to make my favorite games have really gone downhill over the last decade, like Bethesda, Bioware, and maybe CDPR (hopefully the cp2077 release was just a fluke but we’ll see).

well this is not one of those instances.

if i was planning to upgrade my rig soon i’d save these games for the new hardware.

if that was the intended layout of lemmy comments they wouldn’t have vote buttons at all.

it's not about anger, the point of downvoting is to put low effort or other random crap comments below any others that may actually contribute to the topic.

i got giant ceramic multicolored C9 LED lights from amazon and absolutely love them. never liked the tiny lights.

at much, much lower levels.

that doesn't make it a good headline.
