  • Haha thank you! I created it in college during one of my chemistry courses. We were using it for some experiment (I assume, I don't remember at this point lol). Anyway at that point in time I made a few usernames and passwords that were fun chemistry stuff.

The reason I was interested in it was because of the connection with acetaminophen (you may have learned that acetaminophen is a metabolite of acetanilide).

Very cool stuff. Thanks for asking! Made my day :)

  • I once knew someone who got locked in.

I'm not sure how long they were in for but by the time I learned about it they were $75k+ in.

They met on some app that I can't remember what it was called. One of the weird ones that was in the news. Some sort of messaging app.

Anyway, the person I knew was some sort of computery accountant type person (not sure exactly what they did just know it involved both lol) so I was shocked that they fell for it.

They asked me to help them so I tried but they went right back to it. What's crazy is the person scamming them gave them access to an account that had like $1M in it. So I'm not sure why they believed the person needed money?? So weird.

My tip is: do not give anyone money. Ever.

  • It depends on who you ask tbh. I looked this up a while back* (but less than a year ago) and science basically said that water + scrubbing certain produce is fine and recommended, and adding anything else doesn't really do much. I'll try to find the article I read.

*Just wanted to add that the reason I looked it up was because of a post my friend made on Facebook asking people how they prep their produce (and chicken) - way too many people said they do soap and water....

Edit: here is a guide from science from 2010 (PDF WARNING)

  • Yeah so you have to pay an extra monthly "rent" PER PET (not to mention the extra deposits! Yes plural)

I was looking at a place the other day. 2 bedroom apartment in a shitty area. I didn't take notes on all the costs but this is what I have:

    Application Fee: $50 per applicant

    Rent: $1450 $2115

    Security Deposit: $1450 $2115

Nonrefundable Pet Deposit per pet: $300

    Pet Deposit per pet: $200

    Pet Rent per pet: $25

    No utilities included

Edit: misremembered the rent by a lot

  • Khaki or navy blue pants or shorts. Lower grades wore a ridiculous light blue button up that had a huge collar. I tried to find a pic but the school has changed shirts to a polo to match the high school (grey or blue polo). All shirts had school logo on it. And then of course the school's jacket which was navy blue.

  • When I was working on mine I was making $1800 and rent was only ~$720 for a 2 bed. I think that included pet rent too.

The mental toll however...(Hundreds of thousands of dollars in insurance claims later, probably more)
