  • The best card game I've played is Innovation.

Cards contain different icons, which indicate supremacy for the player who is displaying the most of that icon on their tableau.

Supremacy means that a player can demand things of players who are showing less icons.

The standout card-mechanism is when you perform an action to 'splay' one of your stacks of cards, thus revealing extra icons from the cards below.

    An elegant and exceptional game.

    Highly recommended to try.

  • This is my 3rd phone, since solving them the first time, so I just went through and got the ones I remember.

I'm glad the other 5 of 6 are solvable. Thanks for confirming that.

Looks like 'Name me the skin' is the hardest one of all.

I'm pretty sure you will get the other 2 in a couple of days.

    The 'skin' question... ~5-10 years ? (c:

  • I'd say, your 4 are in this 6:

    Name your heroine after me.

    Name me the skin

    Without this common currency

Without you I am incomplete 1

Without you I am incomplete 2

    This: Brought by man

    • PS, I am not looking for any answers here at all. (Spoiler-tags do not work in several clients)

I'm fine solving these 15yrs later or not at all. The unsolved ones are good for campfires, or travelling through other countries.

But I'm pretty sure they post to Mastadon and it is visible here on Lemmy. Or maybe they have accounts on Lemmy.

  • Many years back, at a caravan park games-room they had ping-pong, pinballs, pool, and a cocktail table Space Invaders.

I had little money for the videogames and pinball.

Some older kids had figured out that going to Space Invaders and flicking the wall power switch off, for a tenth of a second, would sometimes give an odd-number of free credits.

We played 7, 21, and then maxed out the registers at 99 credits.

Everyone played in rotation all day and turned it off with about 20 left.

  • Breaking traction when driving through a puddle.

I assumed they are super heavy and would stick to the ground, nope.

The tyres are essentially treadless drift-tyres, and any water on a polished concrete surface will allow some sliding.

This was without load and no crash ensued, just a momentary boost in adrenaline as 1.5 tons is moving a different direction as expected.

  • Eternity app does not seem to handle the spoiler tags too.

  • The same car mod term in the 50s was 'hotrodding'.
