I also own a Bialetti Kaliffa (the rather rare precursor to the Brikka) and the crema valve is also an improvement. Gets a little closer to espresso thanks to the higher pressure
Moka pots are awesome. Wouldn’t want to make my coffee any other way at home. Has been the standard in Italy since it was invented and is a staple even here in Germany.
The trick is to stop the brewing the moment it stops flowing and starts sputtering. But it‘ll still be rather strong coffee. It was supposed to be the next best thing to espresso when invented, after all
Tidal may be most popular but the use of the lossy MQA codec for their "lossless" offerings is objectively worse than Deezer, Apple music and even Amazon Music.
Do you have any idea how much more expensive flash storage is compared to discs? There's a reason cartridge based gaming systems are limited to handheld nowadays. An 8GB switch cartridge costs about as much as a 50GB Bluray, from what I've read. And a 32GB card about 60% more. And the switch cartridges don't exactly use SSD quality NAND chips and controllers, which would be needed for the ever growing need of SSD speeds on current gen hardware.
So unless you're fine with paying double for your games, don't expect them to come on high quality cartridges any time soon, especially if we're talking about games over 100GB, which are getting more and more prominent.
The reason for that is, that printers are usually sold via the razor blade principle: gift them the razor, sell them the blades at twice the price. With no overpriced cartridges to substitute the printers they usually make a loss on, they have to increase the price of the printer.
For A4 paper, the Eco-Tank printers actually aren’t much more expensive than regular printers though.
Though honestly, if I had to buy a printer, it would be a laser printer for sure. Yes, they are a little more expensive but I print very little and every inkjet I’ve owned has dried up between using them and having to buy new ink cartridges for every print job is wasteful and expensive…
Luckily there are a few printer companies who are moving in the right direction. Epson started selling printers a while back where you can just refill the ink without the need of a cartridge and brands like lexmark and brother also make printers that aren’t manufactured landfill like hp‘s offerings.
Both my two 360 controllers and my xone controller are drift free and I’ve had them for a while. And my 360 controllers have been abused by my little brother for a while. They have issues (like the rubber off the sticks getting rubbed away slowly), but drift isn’t one of them. Heck, even my old Wii Nunchucks are drift free and they’ve been abused a lot.
That’s not even necessarily the issue. XBox and PS controllers also don’t use Hall effect. I’ve never had an xbox controller drift. You’d have to seriously abuse them for them to break. Nintendo isn’t just cheaping out on the tech but also on the build quality itself. But what do you expect from a company that sells a console that was obsolete when it was released, hardware wise. For the third time.
It‘s not actually there in current windows versions. It takes some sort of workaround and I think you actually need to use the cmd. It is possible though.
And 4K isn‘t even correct in the horizontal direction. "4K" TVs have a horizontal resolution of 3840 pixels. That’s 3.8K. True 4K, as used in movie production (aka DCI 4K) is 4096x2160
