Don’t need a dongle life, necessarily. I have a decent pair of cans with removable cable, so I just got a cable that terminates in a lightning connector. And through magnetic wireless charging I can even charge while listening to music.
Sure, that’s not optimal, not the solution for everyone and no reason for phone manufacturers to not include headphone jacks but it does work and without dongles at that.
Where did I say that find it good that they got sued or lost their appeal? I just said that the reason why they lost the appeal is because according to the law they’re bound to, what they did was wrong. And maybe they should’ve left that to a platform that enjoys a little more immunity from said law, because there are plenty of those.
It was stupid of them. They painted an unnecessary target on their back that doesn’t help their cause and I‘d prefer them not to have to shut down at some point because I’m all for the Internet archive archiving anything and everything.
They should’ve stayed a legitimate library and everything would have been fine and would have served their cause sufficiently well.
Which was nice of them, but that doesn’t mean they should’ve done that, especially in the eyes of the law.
(Also, if you’re after free ebooks, why are you pirating them on archive.org instead of libgen?)
I’ll definitely play Jedi Survivor (as soon as I get around to upgrading my graphics card to something that can actually play the game).
I might try outlaws once it’s on clearance or so. But as someone who hated most of what Ubisoft did in the last few years (they ruined my beloved Assassin‘s Creed and made a mockery out of Watch_Dogs), I will stay sceptical.
Here in Germany at least, if you read almost any printed novel, the type face will include this type of g. It’s so common, that I didn’t realise it’d be strange for some people.

Nope. I also totally missed even Black Ops 5 existing. But then again, what I’m looking for in a CoD game (good split screen offline local multiplexer with a decent selection of maps and not too much bullshit) hasn’t really been met since BO3. All newer ones are either online only (in varying degrees of awfulness, ranging from no splitscreen at all to splitscreen with two activision accounts required) and/or have a terrible split screen layout. Haven’t tried WWII though, so far, which might still be good enough (and interesting due to less bullshit than bo3, my current fav that isn’t from the 360/ps3 era)
And even EA made some decent games with the IP. I loved Jedi Fallen Order. Haven’t played Jedi survivor yet but from what I’ve gathered, it’s definitely not a total flop and even Battlefront 2-2 was decent enough.
That’s fairly standard for serif fonts like times new roman, baskerville, etc. Although it is uncommon in modern sans serif fonts and/or fonts designed to be viewed on a screen.
The channels you‘re watching get a noticeable chunk out of your YT Premium subscription though. I‘ve heard multiple YT creators say, that they get a lot more money from a premium view than an ad supported one (and nothing when you use adblock). And I definitely watch too many different creators to support each and every one individually on patreon/nebula/floatplane/whatever.
Yea, it’s definitely not for everyone yet. But the average user (who needs a browser, a file manager and maybe an office suite) has no reason to stay on windows besides the convenience of being installed already.
In my elementary school we even had clocks, where the numbers were large dice the teacher could take out and rotate so they showed ½, 30 or 18 instead of 6, for example. It’s not hard to learn, if you’re at a school. But then again, digital clocks are so everpresent that it might not actually matter…
It‘s the camera angle. The ratio of keyboard to trackpad is a lot more pleasing if you don’t take the pic with a wide angle lens. You can see a top down shot of the keyboard area here.
That’s a mac, so it’s cmd+shift+3 for a whole screenshot, cmd+shift+4 for selection or a window (switchable via space bar) and cmd+shift+5 for a screen cap menu
Dunnily enough, I got into Linux through my grandfather (now in his 70s), who had been on and off using Linux since redhat. Although, by now, my tech and Linux knowledge surpassed his (at least in applications relevant in this century) because he’s scared of the internet
