  • Well, somebody didn't like their callout.

  • We might only hope this regulatory body has more teeth than their Amerikan counterparts. Otherwise, these megacorps will just pay the fine-- which will no doubt be seen as little more than "the cost of 'doing business'" for them.

  • To me, Amerikan May 1st is just another Hallmark holiday I don't celebrate because there is no loyalty to Amerikans in me anymore. If I had anything of worth to sell for citizenship elsewhere, I'd have done it by now.

  • I had the old site pulled up on the wayback machine a couple days ago but it's being finicky about being found again; so here's the link to the most complete Wikia I've found binding them together.

  • “Russian people are warmonger creatures”

But if I say that about the reptilian Anglo menaces, suddenly I'm a genocider who wants yacub's spawn forcibly removed from the country

Weird how they can only parse how fucked a comment is when it's aimed at them

  • Yet to answer for, yet to pay restitution, yet to even truly liberate us even

  • 'Potential' Hitler? At least half of them proudly wear their armbands on their shoulders

  • I mean, if I recall right, hardline Abrahamics and their derivatives aren't supposed to trend towards believing in contraception in the first place, so of course it'd be raw

  • It doesn't matter what religion you follow, I oppose this perceived 'god given right' for a religion to maintain its own little fief where their 'honor code' supersedes federal anti-discrimination law in its entirety

  • Sounds like it should've been the name of some bass-y, smoky-voiced soul singer in the 70s.

  • Nah correct. We need more Eragons in this era. Saphira might be my single favorite dragon in fiction.

  • Been saying for the longest she's more fugazi than swap meet Gucci.

  • Fatal Frame fucks, hard

One of the precious few console horror games that feels like it maintains its oppressive, tenebrous atmosphere at all times, even beyond the ending.

  • I always felt like you could have a monster-of-the-month kind of table revolving around some of the more nightmarish Objects; some kind of high fantasy iteration of the Foundation or the Bureau that's trying to secure these objects to keep them from falling into the hands of civilians and all that

A lot of why I liked it is you also didn't need super-deep knowledge of esoteric terminology, like while I appreciate the hard roleplay of the Foundation, there's a point where the redactions get to be a bit much, and you start feeling like "you made that word up." There's something that feels a whole lot forbidden about the Holders by nature of it always feels like you're reading the journals of the deranged regarding these Objects.

  • As much as I like the SCP Foundation, I really wish that it was The Holders that took off instead.

In any city, in any country, there's a mental institution or halfway house you can try any of these in. There were 2538 of these Objects, but 2000 were lost.

The remaining 538 must never come together. Ever.

Ironically, because the old site was lost to history/the wayback machine; and the only wikias I've found that bind these stories only have up to #538, if that, now there really are 2000 missing Objects.
