Does he have the authority to stop congressionally approved aid? I thought Trump got impeached for that.

Russia has killed over 30000 civilians, they have abducted 20000 ukrainian children and assigned them to Russian families, they have destroyed Ukrainian museums, churches, and art. It's just as much of a genocide.

Ukrainians have their own culture, language, religion, and ethnicity distinct from Russia. Russia is killing the native population to replace them with Russians, they are abducting Ukrainian children to raise them as Russian, and they are destroying Ukrainian art, museums, and churches. It is a genocide.

I saw a video from the UK where a guy charged a cop with a knife and the cop just smacked it out of his hand with a baton and put him in handcuffs. Police in the UK only shoot two or three people each year, and the per capita injuries to the police are lower, seems like a better system.

I can see an argument for Israel being the original aggressor, but the idea that Palestinians have never taken a turn is baffling.

If Israel were to cease all aggression immediately, would a lasting peace follow? It seems like a lot of people won't be satisfied unless Israel is removed from the Levant.

Some people just inherit it. Still unjust, and should be taken away, but is it worth killing over? There's bad people at every level of wealth, I don't see how slaughtering the wealthy makes any more sense than the death penalty for anyone else. We need to take away their money and help them to be better people. Recovery from the disease of greed is possible and necessary.

I don't get the desire to violently dispose of billionaires; it's a status defined by wealth, we just gotta take their money and they stop being billionaires. Problem solved, right?

I am by no means an expert, but I've been hearing about the conflict from both sides for several decades now. My take away is that both sides seem ideologically opposed to the existence of the other.

If Israel stopped all aggression today, I don't think it would stop the rockets; likewise Palestine could halt all aggression and still be attacked by the IDF. Lasting peace will require a shift in perspective, which gets harder to imagine with every day of the invasion.
