We would be arguably better off educating and convincing these users that they would be better off purely in the fediverse. But good luck with that because I haven't had any success with it.
I actually feel really guilty about buying all those single serving drinks from Dunkin' and the convenience stores because of all of the plastic I am just putting back into the environment. I really need to stop doing this. đŸ
I am actually thinking about going back to Cloudflare tunnels. The only reason that I am hesitant is that I do use a fair amount of bandwidth as I host a mastodon server as well as a lemmy one. I don't want to be stuck with a huge bandwidth bill.
It's been my experience that the devout cherry-pick from the bible to find material that supports their personal world view. Since the bible is constantly contradicting itself, this is wholly possible.
Actually, you're mistaken because I've set SSH and SFTP to use the port for IMAPS which is 993. I know that Dunkin Donuts, for example, offers guest WiFi. They have port 993 open because I can send and receive email from my phone. My email provider is Hostinger for reference. However, when I try to SSH into my server over the 993 port it fails when it should not. I have verified that 993 is not firewalled and that the SSH daemon is listening for connections on port 993. What else could it be other than a firewall analyzing the TCP handshake and seeing that it is not email, http, or https traffic? If I am wrong please educate me.
Too be honest, I hope they win. While I my passion is technology, I am not a fan of artificial intelligence at all! Decision-making is best left up to the human being. I can see where AI has its place like in gaming or some other things but to mainstream it and use it to decide who's resume is going to be viewed and/or who will be hired; hell no.
