It's also very advisable to do a basic AED course. Its just a single afternoon, but it's immensely valuable to have at least once practised with how to properly use an AED. Often they also show other techniques, like Rautek (dragging someone semi safely) or how to use the kiss of life (a mouth to mouth ventilation mask)
"Boomer" has lost all meaning. It has just become an empty counter for when you disagree with someone but you lack the emotional intelligence to have an actual discussion about something other the superficial.
Your early 20's are the best, imo. You get more freedom from adulthood, but the responsibilities come in a lot slower. You get less restrictions from childhood, but still bear some of the securities and comforts.
Half way through your 20's you get a "quarter life crisis" and you realise that you need to get shit together. That's when life gets real and your childhood truly ends.
At least thats my experience. Ever since I turned 30, my anxiety has been growing to a point where now I even loose sleep over it some days. Which is something I'd never done before.
There's nothing cool about having to live alone because the person you been married to for 50+ years died and you can't bring yourself to meet soemone else out of heartache, even after 10 or 20 years.
It is pretty cool though if you do manage to meet someone else, when you're 90 and now you're popping viagra like candy.
Technically the truth. I learned to talk with a proper Irish accent within a couple months. 15 years later there's nothing left of that, but for a brief moment in history I was cool.
I don't think we're doing that anymore. For the most part, at least.
