  • You’re preaching the choir. I agree he (and others) is overpaid. I solely reacted on weird spike thrown at docusign.

Where in disagree is on your very generous of billions in humanity’s achievements ; pretty sure a lot of us didn’t pitch in. Pretty sure my own name isn’t appearing in the credits for example. But I salute your optimism.

  • Fair point. I find it interesting that there’s such an emphasis on « just »; it takes some efforts to get to a point where as a company you can trust the process to the extent we trust docusign… it’s not exactly trivial. Still waaaaaaay overpaid indeed but still.

  • Yeah definitely a good idea. Routing your mobile traffic through it so your carrier cannot access your traffic and the services you don’t want to share location with can’t snoop as much on you.

  • I’d say it’s about designing a good strategy. I have local backups on my NAS and a nightly incremental backup to cloud locations from there. That way the capture from my local equipment to the NAS is lightning fast and it’s not a big deal to have it take a few hours to reach the cloud. Also having a NAS on a power backup is a must-have.

  • Given the propensity of gpt to « fill the gaps » and « follow the narrative » what’s the benefit you expect ? Inability to hold a gun since it doesn’t have hands?

Also same difference due to training bias of models; they would likely flag the black guy given it would be fed crafted training material the same way your cops are biased…
