    • Mozilla will take money from Microsoft
    • Firefox gets Office 365, Exchange, and Azure AD integration
    • Netflix partners with Microsoft for advanced HD and DRM
    • Microsoft and Mozilla partner to deliver Microsoft-enhanced Firefox for Windows
    • ActiveX 2.0
  • Not sure about Russian units, but in the west, the acceleration towards earth aka gravity aka what happens when you stand to close to a window while not cheering for Putin is 9.81m/s^2.

Not sure what 9.8 square metres is...

  • Yes, it's called Linux. Just boot any live usb and you'll see.

I get what you are asking: Why try hundred distros, just tell me the one that works, but I'm not aware of any such tool. If an open-source driver exists the kernel is really good at auto-detecting everything and make it work.

  • I believe the actual detector is similar. They know what sentences are likely generated by chatgpt, since that's literally in their model. They probably also have to some degree reverse engineered typical output from competing models.

  • Well, aren't most things build to make rich people richer? If you want to start a business, most likely you'll need (rich) investors. Why would they give you their money if not to get richer?

I'm impressed by what Bitcoin and Ethereum can do, which was earlier not possible (or different). Not so impressed by most other crypto hypes.

  • A member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, speaking Monday at a meeting of lawmakers, justified the rape and abuse of Palestinian prisoners, shouting angrily at colleagues questioning the alleged behavior that anything was legitimate to do to "terrorists" in custody.

Lawmaker Hanoch Milwidsky was asked as he defended the alleged abuse whether it was legitimate, "to insert a stick into a person's rectum?"

"Yes!" he shouted in reply to his fellow parliamentarian. "If he is a Nukhba [Hamas militant], everything is legitimate to do! Everything!"

  • I believe, this is because it's not yet a business model (nor a legal requirement). The first questions is, who even owns the lot and who has to power to make changes? Then, who gets to use the power output? Do you use it on-site or feed to grid? Do the local utility work with you or against you? (Hint: You are competitors now and running a grid is not free.)

That's just speculation, why solar-covered parking lots are not yet build much. The idea totally makes sense. It will probably take a either a startup company that figures out how and sells the solutions to the owners or a local government pushing for more solar.

To those saying, it's cheaper to build on a roof. Maybe, then do the roof, first, if it's feasible. Is it cheaper to build on undeveloped land or farm land? Maybe, if you live in the middle of nowhere or drive a significant distance to do your shopping. Still, plenty of opportunity to build over parking lots.

  • Navigate to notion.com. check the certificate. (Click on of the icons in the browser bar on the left). Remember what you see (take a screenshot)

Do the same in a different Wifi network.

If the certificate differs, this is highly suspicious.

  • Short version: No, most likely not.

They see who you are, but not what you do.

Slightly longer: Someone can probably see your connections to google and notion and infer that you are using Notion, but they cannot see your Google/Notion account and not what content you are working on. (Also those are very popular tools, unless you are the enemy of the state number 1, why would they care?)

Even longer: If your laptop or your gmail or your notion account is compromised, they can see everything.
