we'll probably be getting a piefed instance of our own at some point. the reception to the idea seemed mostly positive, and the admins have said they'll have a vote on it at some point in the near future. I'm looking forward to it, I don't want to support Lemmy with the dev it has, if there are other options that are better and also federate.

downvoting has been against the rules from the start. and again, it's not my problem if you didn't read the rules. you were banned according to them. if you don't like it, that's really tough.

if people hate us because they can't act like that on our instance without getting a ban, then that's really their problem, not ours. nobody needs to be federated with us if they think we're too sensitive or woke. that's the beauty of fedi, if you don't like our space, you can go make your own. like you did.

but don't expect us to cater to your whims. you don't pay the bills to keep our instance running. you don't even live there. you don't get a say in how we curate our instance.

you said a temp ban for ableist slurs on an instance run by neurodivergents was "fucking stupid", when the OP refused to edit their post to remove the slurs. what did you think was gonna happen? you got a temp ban yourself, it's hardly the end of the world.

neurodivergent are people who have atypical brains. like those with adhd, autism, etc. several of the admins of dbzero are neurodivergent, and many of the mods are as well, so they obviously don't appreciate slurs against people like them.

being anti-AI is not allowed per the rules of those communities. as for the other user, that user is literally a sockpuppet account with zero comments or posts that is used strictly to downvote. I petitioned today for them to instance banned.
