With all of the instances having different URL's, what's the best way to "google" a question and get Lemmy instance answers?

  • Looks like a problem with cloning the nvim-dap repo from github. What happens when you try to manually clone the repo? Run git clone https://github.com/mfussenegger/nvim-dap.git in your home directory to see what happens.

  • I found it's very annoying and I had two cables break on me because it sticks out more from the phone - and phones being larger with each release means we can't keep them in our pockets as we used to. Also, replacing a USB-C->jack cable is more expensive than replacing an audio cable.

  • Hottest: 42C humid - horrible sensation, would never want to experience it again, but looks like we're almost there again
    Coldest: -27C - wasn't nice, but not worse than -15C with high winds!

  • I'm happier than ever that I moved to a different distro. I was a Fedora user since they started and was happy to use it for a few years at the job. But seeing what's happening with the whole red hat shit it makes me sad for the people who gave a lot of their time and passion for this.

    It's getting harder and harder for the Fedora devs to show they are independent of red hat...

  • I don't know if you joke or not, but thinking finnish = communist is too far away from any truth. I lived and still live in an ex-communist country and let me tell you: nothing Linus says or does is communist in any way. Socialist? Maybe! But that's a different discussion.
