How differently would have information technology developed if most of the world were under authoritarian regimes instead of liberal democracies? Would encryption have been more restricted?

    If that's the real reason, just replace it and look for a new one with the double amount of RAM.

    Create one VM to your liking, then make it a template.

    So when you need a new VM, you clone the template, and that's it.
