  • Minor correction, the Wikipedia article says it is alternatively expressed as - meaning that the expanded definiton which is "Everybody in the world who knows about The Game is playing The Game", implies the first definition is that you have to know before you play.

  • that's haram!

  • How did they win exactly? By not playing?

Rule 1 is: you are now playing the game.

You cannot win if you don't start playing.

  • You cannot win the game though.

Also I lost last week so I'm not salty.

  • Thank you! I haven't laughed that hard in a year or more. My sides hurt.

  • Also photons cease to exist once you move into their space, there would be no light to enter your eyes attoseconds after stopping time, meaning you would be blind.

  • The power to travel through time, at the speed of regular time

  • I have never actually seen a Proton ad. I only looked into them after hearing about them often on privacy oriented subs.

  • There are legit VPN companies. Mullvad would be my choice if I didn't already use Proton for their suite of software.

Nord is shit-tier. CCleaner is shit-tier. Raid shadow legends is shit tier.

Note which youtuber it is, and completely disregard anything they say.

  • Philosophically, yes.

    Epistemologically, no.

The presupposition that ethics are founded on a principle of intellectual superiority is not generally accepted.

Though, not too long ago it was. We regard people with those beliefs as racist or sexist these days.

I think it is more commonly accepted that their reduced intelligence facilitates less awareness, therefore, less suffering.

Suffering is the metric we're truly evaluating here, which is why Foie Gras is illegal in multiple countries, even though ducks can be butchered and sold legally.

But if Foie Gras is immoral, then when does exploitation become moral? What is the condition where exploitation becomes ethical? How can you grade suffering? Is it intuitive? Is it just arbitrary?

Personally, I think any exploitation is immoral, so I don't eat animal products.

  • I agree. The reason I said it I would almost say it's a disservice is only because it seems strange to say anyone could do a disservice to Hitler.

Trump speaking at a fifth grade level is either a tactic or a beneficial coincidence, his cult loves it.

  • I could almost say that would be a disservice to Hitler. Fuck'em both.

  • Its actually worse than that. I PAID for Windows. If I paid for WinRAR they would stop.

  • You might be, but think about the reaction to that. It's not a realistic scenario, even progressive governments would strike it down as inhumane.

It simply is the case that there is a bias towards vegans. If other convicts can eat meat, then vegans should be allowed to eat plant-based meals.

  • I wonder if anyone has ever said something was indescribable, it was just because they weren't aware of the word needed to describe it.

Even in a way, saying something was indescribable is doing a lot of heavy lifting by itself, which is weird.

  • It's more about isolating him so he can't do more harm.

  • Yeah, fuck him. But also they should accommodate for his diet.

The reason we imprison people for life as opposed to executing them, is because we want to demonstrate compassion. Prison is merely isolation for the safety of the public.

His diet doesn't just affect him though, if his diet is to reduce suffering of non-human amimals by not eating meat, then he's still doing good.

Think about the flip-side of this, if in prison, vegan meals were the only option for everyone, and an inmate refused to eat until given meat.
