  • If you think you only get a choice once every four years, that's part of the problem. There's elections every single year, many of which you have more choice and more power over.

    Maybe if people showed up to vote more than once every four years we'd actually see some effective change.

    It's literally in the name. Capitalism is about acquiring capital. It's about using that capital for your own gain.

    It's not just any system where money happens to exist.

  • Capitalism is about reaping reward from financial dealings, not just tossing money at things because you like them, and seeking nothing in return.

    OPs take is dumb, but yours isn't much better.

  • ... because those in charge (i.e. producers, companies) feels it's not profitable enough.

    Who do you think "we" is in the equation? Do you think the average person wakes up in the morning and thinks to themselves "Should I feed the world today? Naaaahhh..."
