If you think you only get a choice once every four years, that's part of the problem. There's elections every single year, many of which you have more choice and more power over.

To a degree. It will adapt only so far. If you give it more than it can handle on a regular basis you're doing more harm than good.

It's literally in the name. Capitalism is about acquiring capital. It's about using that capital for your own gain.

It's not just any system where money happens to exist.

Capitalism is about reaping reward from financial dealings, not just tossing money at things because you like them, and seeking nothing in return.
