And sometimes things don't have sides, except for those who want to divide people. You can think that two, or even more, people who are arguing both have good points... and maybe you add more.
True, enlightened discussion doesn't have winners and losers... it has open minds.
Your point seemed to be "She sucks, maybe not as much as the other guy, but still sucks", which is not exactly inspiring in and of itself. maybe you should do less to try and discredit the currently most viable defense we have against people like Trump.
You have serious problems if you needs additional inspiration beyond literal fascism.
You would think, and yet they're still around parrotting the same narrative. Hell, there's at least one in the comments of this very post.
Assuming that anyone with a contrary opinion, no matter how ridiculous you might feel it is, is being disingenuous is an easy way to underestimate them.
At least two major MMOs have the player being the "main" character, FF14 and WoW both treat the player character (and their friends) as the "hero" (and their party). I'm sure others do the same, but honestly I never get far enough into them to find out.
You'd almost certainly not be Aloy, but that doesn't mean you're not the main protagonist of the story in the game.
Quality isn't necessarily measured by desire. One can enjoy something they never desired before it existed. And one can loathe something they always desired before it was made, see the Warcraft movie (for me, at least).
And yet they're on the same path, with no little help from Macron and his ilk.
You can talk for days about how they're so willing to stand up and fight for what they want... but at this point they've gotten very little of it, so their methods seem awfully suspect.
That's been the rhetoric for as long as I've been alive. "Maybe if we wait for the next generation..."
Maybe if people fucking showed up at all, we'd have this fucking licked. Turnout has been historically high the last few elections... and it's still atrocious.
This isn't on the people who show up, it's on the people who don't. I don't care how much you don't like the options available, deciding to abstain in this is saying you want someone else to think for you cause you don't feel like it.
You're welcome to believe whatever fantasy you want, too, it's not reality after all :)
If you choose to believe your version of events, and whatever justification you need to use for it, feel free. We can both ignore each others reasoning just fine, I'd imagine.
That's a tagline, not a rule. You'd have better luck with referencing an actual rule, say Rule 5.
