Sounds more like the guy who gets kicked out of the only clique that tolerated them in school and tells everyone else they suck in response. "Loser claims other people losers on his way out".
People are also trained to just do what everyone else is doing, and everyone is driving like an asshole... so if you're not driving like an asshole, you're the one who's driving dangerously.
It's also highly dependent on viewing history. There's a ton of Netflix originals I've never seen because I don't watch that kind of show. I don't think I've ever had Bridgerton thrown in my face, but it's just not my kind of show. This and that one with Mike Meyers I've seen a ton of the time, though.
If you consider the basic concept, they've been a thing since we started grouping together as communities. There have always been people who power trip. The internet just made them less effectual.
The way to destroy Hamas isn't through bombs, it's through peaceful coexistence between Palestinians and Israelis. Proving that you don't want that, by killing Palestinian civilians en masse, just fuels Hamas.
That's because people are far too invested in their own comforts. 1/6 was an outlier because they were under the mistaken impression that Trump would lift even a single finger to protect them, which has not played out at all.
We might see a similar event after the 2024 election if Trump doesn't win again, but not on any kind of national scale.
Mostly because the people with the "right idea" about moving the building have given up and just don't participate anymore.
And, oddly enough, you can do multiple things! Voting is one aspect of change, not the only one. It's a relatively simple thing you do maybe every six months at most.
But sure, no point in doing it, right? Cause why would we bother doing something unless we can see our names in big flashing lights saying "You did the thing, congrats!"
But having the leading words "The book is called" is not.
