  • Ever heard of "1 bad apple spoils the bunch"? In this case one good apple either dies, or spoils. There's literally no such thing as a good cop.

Any cop you think is good? Go put them in riot gear, give them some grenade launchers, and then give them a crowd of different colored people. Id bet big money that good cop would either do what the rest of the cops around them do, (fuck up a crowd) or they would immediately quit/help the defenseless civilians who are being assaulted with tear gas and rubber bullets.

  • Its already a hefty fine/jail time for impersonating a member of the law

  • In a system where money is not a thing it would just be a creative passion project and run endlessly until it was no longer needed.

  • Have you ever actually been to a protest? Cops absolutely go after vandals, but going after vandals NEVER means opening fire on a square of people who are literally sitting down and chanting.

This has happened. Numerous times. Don't defend the fascists who simply get a hard on for attacking civilians.

  • Youre really going to post the most controversial study there is because they cherry picked data?

Please give me one actual example of where the people toppled the government and enacted change... through non-violent protesting.

Moving the goal posts yeah yeah yeah. Give me an article or proof then of 1 single thing that caused real, permanent change, like I originally asked. Not some mass "several" article.

  • Can you give one example where non-violence caused actual long standing change with 0 violence?

  • Must be regional then. I noticed that my shell isn't completely flat after seeing your post and now I'm obviously very concerned.

I've reached out to Steam Support atleast, hopefully they can directly sell me one, or point me somewhere that I'm not buying one off Amazon but this should likely be replaced asap...

When did you get your steam deck? Mines an original Q3 an curious if this is something common for our 2 year old devices?

  • Okay but how did you order a replacement??? Every time I've checked Ifixit they've been out of stock and I've signed up for an email telling me when they're in stock... Its been like a month...m

  • Most companies I've worked for, from union to mom and pop, pay for your drive time. Unless you're in a very small company, in which case you record your mileage and are able to use it for taxes.

If you're in a big city you'll have plenty of work all within a solid 50mile radius. If you're out in the sticks with towns spread out... Youll still have plenty of work but the majority of your day will be driving.

I personally love low voltage, specifically as a service technician. Spend 20 minutes diagnosing a problem, 20 minutes fixing it, and then 30 minutes driving to the next while getting paid the entire time. Take 4 to 7 calls a day and make bank.

I've been doing this for almost 10 years though, and most guys start out as an installer, learning the trade, working at big job sites, and gaining the skills to be able to be a service technician. If you have an aptitude for learning, and care, you'll be better than 75% of your coworkers.

  • Not sure if you guys haven't ever actually worked with fiberglass, or are trying to make it sound significantly worse than it is to prove a point....

No, you wash your hands after touching fiberglass, have a shower, and by the morning you won't even realize your mistake. Itll be an itchy few hours, but its not gonna shred your hands, and it won't cause permanent damage either.

Your lungs will be a bit worse for wear, and you should wear gloves/respirator, but for a couple minutes or photo op or even to move around your own attic you'll be fine.

  • This is a photo of irony

  • Id that even Dune? The stuff they're wearing and the setting they are in does not look like the dune that's shown in trailers... For one they're are trees and no sand
