  • I did a similar thing. The light in the bathroom was off, but the light in the adjoining room was on. So, it's dim, but I can still see. I also had multicolor Christmas lights around my bedroom for a while. Laying in bed relaxing in the dim and colorful lights was my jam.

  • One of the few movies I've seen multiple times in the theater! Also, it was the first movie we watched after my Dad gota surround sound setup with great quality sound and enhanced bass. It was so immersive and we LOVED the experience.

"We're back in the car again." "At least we're out of the tree." My Dad and I still reference this regularly.

  • They weren't specific to management with their comments. I'm super nice with my coworkers and I care about their well being. They aren't family, but they're good people and I want well for them.

  • I agree. TOS has some interesting characters and fun moments, but I just can't get into like I get into TNG. TNG is a series I can watch start to finish and all the movies and then start right over and watch it all again. TOS is one I might re-watch every 5+ years to refresh my memory, but I'll put it on exclusively while I'm doing something else so I don't waste my attention. My Dad loves TOS and TNG, and regularly references TOS, expecting me to remember episode names and whole plot lines. Oops.

  • It's also about the laws and structure in place. If the right people and laws are in place, they could further undermine the election process and only allow some of the voters who would vote for Biden. Many R-controlled states have been working on this for years. Have they been successful enough?

  • I don't think that producing content by itself is sustainable, but things that aren't quite profitable enough might be enough to be profitable overall with the reach and market share.

I could totally be wrong, but it feels like they're fairly invested in D+, and I don't think it's because they want everyone to have access. After all, they had a "vault" for many years and only sold movies that were rotated out of the vault at the time.

  • Disney is a bit unique with their streaming, though, because their content helps foster interest in their merchandise, parks, theatre movies, etc. The more engagement with their streaming content, the more likely someone is to engage with some other part of their business. Also, if I'm watching Disney+, I'm not watch any other streaming services (at that moment). They want to be a dominant streaming service because it helps them dominate in the parts of their business.

Netflix, Paramount+, etc. don't really have that, at least not to the same degree. Prime is more similar, because while you're not investing in their own merchandise as much, you might be more like to use Prime shipping or music if you have Prime for video streaming (and vice versa).
